Is Tantra only an individual way to work on oneself or can it have a social impact as well?
Is it only connected to the individual awakening of sexual energy?
At Tantralife we do believe that Tantra can have a massive impact on the collective awakening of consciousness, not only because we live in a global world and everyone is connected, but because Tantra is really a shortcut in transforming old individual and collective patterns.
We had a good example of this during the last Tantralife International Maxi Group held in Thailand, last year.
This group was quite an intense process for all the participants and staff who came from all over the world. These international gatherings are always a challenge for everyone involved, especially because when we first meet new people, what we encounter first is the level of personality. With personality here we mean a set of personal characteristics and behaviours that are often determined or influenced by the personal past experiences and traumas, or the collective conditionings, beliefs and education. Well, this is what we normally meet at first.
But the miracle that always happens in Tantralife courses is that very quickly people enter into the process and a deeper connection is made very fast among people with different cultural origins.
Thus the participants (and the staff) very soon are able to touch their Essence, which is the space of the true human nature, made of love and bliss, which is not dependent from the social environment.
A very touching and important moment during this group happened when Radha asked Kabir, the Director of Tantralife Japan, to give special support to a participant from China.
We were all feeling the intensity of that moment, because of the historical background between China and Japan. People of these two countries, in fact, are still “hating” each other because of the events of WWII, so it was really touching to feel these two guys melting in a hug. It was like seing two entire countries meeting for the first time after so many years!
All the participants from China felt the same and some of them were jumping and rejoicing with joy.
This is the magic power of Tantra.
Tantra is love and one drop of love in an ocean of hatred can really start a collective transformation, we felt it very clear during this course!
